I Hacked this Firmware and Found Something Concerning.

Posted by admin
My wife and I are having a baby. I, being a security researcher, have been tasked with the fun job of buying all the gadgets. I wanted to make sure that my son's baby monitor wasn't able to be hacked. Baby monitors have been the topic of TONS of security research over the last ten years. In this video, we explore the process of extracting the firmware from the DXR-8 Pro by Infant Optics, and see if we can prove that the signal between this device and the camera is encrypted. This is the second video in a series of videos where I audit the security of the device and see if it's safe for me to use when little homie arrives.
