I disassembled the small CMOS PCB from the chassis and found that it's a Sony IMX334 which is apparently a better sensor than the 377. Why the microscope outputs 12Mpx images I am not sure - but I guess it's a software feature. Apologies for mispelling IMX377 with IMX337 but Lapsun themselves have mixed that up in their listings! See pinned comment to find out what's the actual sensor inside the microscope! The delay I see is 15ms and this includes my Dell 2709W input lag which, according to Dell, is 6ms, but I guess it really depends on many factors. So it seems that the scope adds an extra 10ms approximately. I do not find that a problem to be honest.
