Update September 2022: To all my viewers: thanks to @wrzone (see thread below) I was able to find out the actual CMOS sensor used on this microscope. I disassembled the small CMOS PCB from the chassis and found that it's a Sony IMX334 which is apparently a better sensor than the 377. Why the microscope outputs 12Mpx images I am not sure - but I guess it's a software feature.
Apologies for mispelling IMX377 with IMX337 but Lapsun themselves have mixed that up in their listings!

After publishing the video I measured the delay using a stopwatch and a camera on high speed shutter (iPhone with 3rd party app).
The delay I see is 15ms and this includes my Dell 2709W input lag which, according to Dell, is 6ms, but I guess it really depends on many factors. So it seems that the scope adds an extra 10ms approximately. I do not find that a problem to be honest.

(Picture is grainy as it's high ISO to compensate for the high shutter speed!)
