Every Monday, @DreamCraftGalaxy releases a 10-minute video on AI, and every day of the week, we release a 1-minute video.
In this concise video, we will explain the science behind quantum computing in simple English.
Quantum computing, which accelerates calculations with quantum mechanics, is revolutionary. Fast speed: Quantum computers use qubits, unlike classical computers. Due to superposition, quantum qubits can be in multiple states at once, unlike classical bits. Since a qubit may represent zero and one, its computational potential grows exponentially. Quantum computing relies on entanglement. Entangled bits' states correlate regardless of distance. This allows quantum computers to perform parallel operations, expanding their computing capabilities. Quantum algorithms use these traits to tackle complex problems quickly. These algorithms may factor large numbers much faster than classical algorithms, threatening encryption methods. Quantum noise challenges quantum computers. Quantum error correction methods are being developed to safeguard delicate states and ensure accurate calculations. When a quantum computer solves a problem that no classical computer can in a reasonable time, it achieves quantum supremacy.
